Complimentary interview

To determine if I am the right doula for you. Birth is intimate and instinctive. I feel it is important to have the right support at your birth, someone to help create a safe and peaceful environment.

Prenatal consultation

I will meet with you and your partner at least once before labor to get to know you, to explore and discuss your priorities and any fears or concerns, to discuss your birth plan and to plan how we might best work together.

Telephone, text, and email support

You may contact me anytime with questions or concerns. Please contact me after each prenatal appointment after 37 weeks to update me on your physical condition and emotional state.

Continuous birth doula support

Once requested, I will remain with you throughout labor and birth. Comfort techniques during labor including massage, birthing ball, music, relaxation and pain management techniques, acupressure, positioning suggestions, as well as facilitate communication between you and caregivers in order to help you understand your choices and information about medical procedures when needed.

For 1-2 hours after birth, I will help with the new family’s needs and assist you with initial breastfeeding, if desired. Once settled, I will thank you and leave you to enjoy your new family.

Post-partum follow up

To discuss your birth experience and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Back up doula availability

In the unlikely event that I will be unable to attend your birth due to unforeseen circumstances, I will have a back up doula available and on call to ensure you will have support during your birth.
